In short. School tutoring can be a one-off to prepare for a test, or regular, to support the whole year. In Oujda, Adom (adom.ma) and the AdomApp app (adomapp.com) connect you with someone who comes to your home. Personalised, free quote; payment after the service.
Do: describe the request clearly on AdomApp
On AdomApp you set out what you need under school tutoring: level, subjects, goal, one-off or regular, possible time slots. You receive proposals, compare them and choose. Prices are not displayed: each request gets a personalised, free quote. Payment comes after the service.
Adom connects people and does not employ them: the tutor is independent. See the Oujda page, for the capital of the Oriental region, and the private tutoring in Oujda page.
Don't: mix up support with doing the pupil's job
The tutor explains and guides; they do not do the homework for the pupil. If the pupil expects someone to hand over the answers, the session loses its point. Say so from the start, to the pupil as well, so everyone knows their role.
Do: decide what a one-off covers
A one-off session has a precise aim. Write it down before booking: "go back over fractions before Friday's test", "redo the essay with someone who reads it through". A clear goal lets the tutor prepare, and lets you judge whether the session helped.
Then plan a check-in: after the test, what is still shaky? The answer helps you choose between stopping and carrying on.
Don't: set up regular tutoring with no framework
Support across the year needs a framework. With no fixed day, no goal and no moment to review, sessions can slide into a habit with no effect. Agree a realistic rhythm with the tutor, what is being worked on and how you will follow progress, for instance by looking at the exercise books.
If the rhythm becomes heavy for the pupil, adjust it rather than dropping it abruptly.
Do: start from what the pupil is going through
Before choosing a rhythm, look at the situation. Is a test coming up on one specific chapter, or are the difficulties spread over several subjects and several weeks? In the first case, short, targeted help can be enough to take stock; in the second, regular support lets the pupil find their footing without rushing.
Ask the pupil what is bothering them, in their own words. Their answer beats any timetable: it tells you whether the problem lies in a chapter, a way of working or lost confidence.
Don't: wait until the night before to fix everything
Help arranged in a hurry the evening before cannot make up for weeks of falling behind. It can reassure, clear up a point and revisit the essentials; it cannot rebuild a missing foundation. If you can see the gap is an old one, say so in the request and consider support spread over a longer period.
Do not wait for the pupil to ask either: some do not dare admit they are slipping.

Frequently asked questions
One-off or regular tutoring: how do I choose?
Look at how far the difficulty extends. One chapter before a test calls for short help; scattered difficulties call for regular support.
Can a session the night before a test be enough?
It can clarify the essentials and reassure, but it does not make up for an old gap. In that case, consider support over a longer period.
What should I put in the request?
The level, subjects, goal, whether it is one-off or regular, and possible time slots.
