What types of animals do you cover?
Adom covers: cats, dogs, and small pets — rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots and other birds. For exotic animals (reptiles, snakes, spiders), contact us to check feasibility based on the sitters available in your city.
Is vaccination required?
For dogs, an up-to-date vaccination record (rabies, distemper or equivalent) is required by our sitters for everyone's safety. For indoor cats, vaccination is strongly recommended but not blocking. For small pets, there is no specific requirement.
Can the sitter stay overnight at my home?
Yes, as an option. Overnight sitting (the sitter sleeps at your home or comes at extended hours) is available on a specific quote. This is particularly suited to owners of anxious dogs or pets that can't handle being alone.
How does Adom vet its pet sitters?
Every sitter goes through 3 steps: ID verification, a one-on-one interview including a discussion of their experience with animals and species they're comfortable with, and references from previous pet-sitting jobs where available. Only those rated 4.5/5 or higher stay active.
What happens in a veterinary emergency?
Our sitters are instructed to contact you immediately and to contact the veterinary clinic you have specified. If the owner is unreachable, they can bring the animal to the vet with your prior consent (specified in the quote). Veterinary costs remain your responsibility.
Can I see photos of my pet while I'm away?
Yes, always. Our sitters send a daily photo or video report via WhatsApp — time of visit, the animal's condition, food given, litter cleaned. You have full visibility into the care your companion receives.
Do you accept large or specific-breed dogs?
Yes, in most cases. Some sitters specialize in large breeds (Labrador, German Shepherd, etc.). Specify your dog's breed, weight and temperament in the form — we'll match you with a sitter with the right experience.
